As Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr. Kevin Kennedy leverages deep expertise in health economics and data science to drive effective decision-making and deliver measurable value for organizations. His leadership is grounded in translating complex research into actionable strategies with real-world impact.
In 2019, Dr. Kennedy founded Korrelate, a consulting firm focused on empowering organizations to become active caretakers of their data. He worked to achieve this through mentoring the organizations he worked with to reach for higher standards in quality, governance and tools. Under his leadership, Korrelate partners with industry leaders and research institutions to tackle complex challenges and deliver data-driven solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.
Dr. Kennedy has led high-impact initiatives, including critical contributions to the Global Rheumatology Alliance's COVID-19 response, where his work influenced healthcare decisions for vulnerable populations. His CIHR-funded postdoctoral research with Canadian Blood Services resulted in a predictive model optimizing national plasma collection strategies, demonstrating his ability to apply advanced analytics in solving large-scale logistical challenges and align operations with population needs.
With a PhD in Health Research Methodology from McMaster University, Dr. Kennedy possesses a strong technical foundation which he applies to drive business growth and operational excellence for Korrelate's clients. His experience extends to developing future leaders through instruction in UBC’s Master of Health Administration program, focusing on the practical applications of health economic evaluations.
