Dr. Kevin Kennedy's career is rooted in a deep passion for data-driven decision-making and a commitment to advancing health research. With a PhD in Health Research Methodology from McMaster University, he specialized in health economics, making notable contributions by developing and validating preference-based measures for disease-specific health states. His academic expertise laid a strong foundation for practical, real-world impact.
In 2019, Dr. Kennedy founded Korrelate, a consulting firm dedicated to empowering organizations through robust statistical analysis, advanced methodological support, and custom application development. Since its inception, Korrelate has partnered with industry leaders and academic researchers, delivering actionable insights that address complex challenges.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Kennedy played a critical role in the Global Rheumatology Alliance's response efforts, funded by the American College of Rheumatology. Collaborating with top experts from McMaster, Stanford, and Harvard, he contributed to key publications on vaccine hesitancy, offering valuable data and analysis that shaped healthcare decisions for vulnerable populations.
Recognized for his capacity and intention through a competitive process, Dr. Kennedy was awarded the prestigious Health System Impact Postdoctoral Fellowship by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). His work at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Canadian Blood Services focused on improving plasma donation strategies across Canada.
