We partnered with a healthcare technology company to design, develop, and maintain a robust data infrastructure and an intuitive analytics dashboard for their patient support program. This initiative provided real-time visibility into medication enrollment, patient assistance program (PAP) form statuses, and operational metrics, enabling data-driven optimization of patient care workflows.
The Challenge
The client faced significant challenges in gaining timely and comprehensive insights from their vast and complex patient support program data. This lack of visibility hindered their ability to track form progression, identify bottlenecks in patient enrollment and assistance processes, and effectively monitor key operational metrics. The existing data infrastructure lacked the agility and accessibility required to provide stakeholders with the crucial information needed for proactive decision-making and continuous improvement of patient care.
Our Solution
- We established a comprehensive data engineering framework, encompassing server setup, maintenance, resource containerization, and user authentication, all hosted on Azure.
- We developed and managed scripts for seamless updates, security patches, and compatibility across integrated components.
- A key deliverable was the dashboard infrastructure, designed to provide stakeholders (clinics and sponsors) with timely, location- and role-relevant access to critical data.
- This involved parsing current and emerging data structures and creating interactive dashboards with drill-down capabilities for enrollment counts, medication counts, form status milestones, PA/PAP tracking, operational pending forms, and notification analysis.
- We also implemented ongoing maintenance and monitoring for system stability and security.
